What is Adware?

Adware (or spyware) in a nut shell slows your PC down to a crawl, makes your internet connection speed the equivalent of a mid 90's modem and generally causes anger and frustration at pages failing to load, games being interrupted by pop-up windows.

Does the story sound familiar of trying to load a webpage, any webpage and all your browser does is say "Finding www.xyz.com with the blue progress bar playfully creeping up towards the "loaded status" for it to just die on you and show the dreaded "Page cannot be displayed" ?

If you are either sadistically grinning at the above paragraph or screaming at the screen saying "YES YES How do I get my PC back to normal?" then you are not the only one.

Adware programs have been around for some time now, their basic function was to display adverts in or outside your web browser which matched what you happened to be searching for at the time. Great idea, from the Adware providers point of view, you type a search, their Adware program reads it and they can then "hopefully" show you adverts you have a direct interest in and possibly make a sale from you. Unfortunately the grim reality is that less than 5% of Adware programs are actually worth the hassle they cause you as the end user. In fact MOST cause misery and despair for computer users all over the world.

Regardless of the hows and whys as to how Adware got onto your PC in the first place, it is time to take action and get rid of it once and for all. It will restore your PC speed back to how it used to be, save you a lot of money on upgrades which you thought might have been necessary due to the overall slowdown. And finally it will STOP any future Adware getting onto your PC.

I would say that this creates the equation for Faster PC + Faster Internet connection = happy user (you).

In my time in the IT industry, I have seen a lot of products come and go, and these below products have stood their ground as being some of the best available at removing Adware from your PC and stopping any future incidents

The Adware market is actually swamped with products, with only a few that actually do what they say they will do. I have used my expertise in this field to provide you with some expert reviews on some of the better options out there available to you. I have personally tried and tested each of these products and would be more than happy to have them installed on my PCs.

I hope I have helped you on your road to getting your PC back to its former glory and wish you good luck.
